Overworld Movement and Text





I already have some lenience for what counts as looking right at somebody, but I might need to expand it at higher ditances. When looking at somebody from far away you don't look at a 45 degree angle if they aren't right in front of you. I could make this better by having 16 angles for every enemy and playable character, but I am NOT doing that crap. Instead I'll test out factering the distance into it. This obviously isn't the biggest problem in the world but it will help a bit with readability as to who the hell you're locked onto.

I also want to add a good visual marker, something like a "!" on top of the enemy's head when you lock on, or a line that travels from Josh's feet to the enemy's, which might look more stylish. You always want something like this being as smooth as possible for the player.
